What is your emotional makeup? Your emotional makeup determines how you engage with people and also how others view you. It can be particularly challenging when these traits are in conflict in your home and in the ones you love.
Below I share some examples of personality traits as follows:-
Sanguine personality type tends to be lively, optimistic, buoyant, and carefree. They love adventure and have a high-risk tolerance.
People with Phlegmatic temperaments tend to avoid conflict and always try to mediate between others to restore peace and harmony.
Someone with a pure Choleric temperament is usually a goal-oriented person. Choleric people are very savvy, analytical, and logical. Extremely practical and straightforward, they aren’t necessarily good companions or particularly friendly.
People with Melancholic personality love traditions. Women cook for men; men open doors for women. They love their families and friends and, unlike sanguine people, they do not look for novelty and adventure. Even more so, they avoid it as much as they can.
A Supine personality is best described as a seeming combination of the Sanguine and the Melancholy personality.
This is what leads people to decide if we are introverted or extraverted.
It’s important to know it’s possible to have these traits in certain measure in one person so that no two people are completely alike.
For example, I and others I know have always considered me extraverted, so imagine my surprise when I found out that I could be extra sensitive sometimes and even introverted – enjoying my own company?
Your emotional makeup is genetic and has both negative and positive characteristics and I learnt a long time ago that the fruit of the Spirit comes in the measure your personality requires it. So, if your personality was deficient in self-control, then you would or should seek God’s help through the power of the Holy Spirit for self-control.
