Your privacy

Stewardship includes looking after what people trust me with, and that includes your personal information. This page explains, in plain words, what I collect through this website, why, who helps me handle it, and the choices you have.

Who I am

Love Nurture Investments is the trading name of Eruvwu Obuaya, a sole trader in the United Kingdom. I decide how your information is used on this website, so I am responsible for it. You can reach me about anything on this page at [email protected].

What I collect and why

• Joining my email list. When you join the list, I collect your email address so I can send you Days 1 to 3 of A Study in Personal Finance and occasional notes, including when new Build More sessions open. I only do this with your consent, which you confirm by clicking the link in the confirmation email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
• Ordering a workbook. When you order by email, I use your name and email address, and for a printed copy your postal address, to take your order, confirm postage, deliver it and keep a record of the sale. I use this information to carry out your order.
• The workbook prize draw. If your order enters you into the draw, I use your order details to run the draw and to contact you if you win.
• Emailing me. If you write to me, I use your name, email address and what you tell me to reply and to help you.
• Paying online. Build More and study payments are taken by Stripe on its own secure pages. I never see or store your card details. Stripe tells me your name, email address and what you bought, so I can give you access and keep records.
• How the site is used. I use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited and how people find the site, so I can make it more useful. It runs only if you agree to it, uses cookies, and collects information such as the pages you view, roughly where you are, and the type of device and browser you use. It does not tell me who you are.

The stewardship check runs entirely in your own browser. Your answers are not sent to me or stored anywhere.

Who helps me handle it

I use a small number of trusted services to run this website and my business. They handle your information only to provide their service:

• Kit, for my email list and the emails I send to it.
• Stripe, for online payments.
• Google, for Google Analytics, for my business email, and for the fonts this site displays.
• Cloudflare, which hosts this website and keeps it secure.

Some of these services store information outside the United Kingdom. They use their own safeguards when they do.

Links to other websites

My merchandise shop is run by Teemill, and my household bill check links to Utility Warehouse, where I am a partner. When you follow those links, those companies handle your information under their own privacy policies, so please read theirs.

Cookies

This site uses cookies for Google Analytics only, and only if you choose Accept in the cookie bar. If you choose No, thank you, Google Analytics does not run. You can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, and you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works fully either way.

Your choice itself is remembered in your own browser, so the cookie bar does not keep asking you.

How long I keep it

I keep your email address on my list until you unsubscribe. I keep order and payment records for as long as I need them for my business and tax records. I keep emails only for as long as they are useful to help you. When I no longer need your information, I delete it.

What I never do

I never sell your information, and I never pass it to anyone to market to you.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it or delete it, object to how I use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Just email me at [email protected] and I will reply as quickly as I can.

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, please tell me first so I can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this page

If I change how I use your information, I will update this page and the date at the top.
